Shirley has been married to Myron Thiessen since 1985. They have two married children and two grandchildren. Shirley enjoys singing and has served the church in this capacity for many years since graduating from Bible College. She is also gifted in caring and mercy ministries. Connecting with and mentoring the young women in the church is a passion of hers. Shirley has been involved in missions through short term trips and being involved on Church Missions committees. She is excited to be involved in what God is doing for and through His Church in Rwanda.
Valerie is a compassionate person with a heart for the poor and hurting. She has been attending Calvary Chapel for 32 years and is currently involved in the Prophetic Art ministry and as well as working in the library. At present her mission and her vocation is working with the elderly. She served with YWAM for 8 years, first on a Mercy Ship and then at Beautiful Gate, a home for HIV children in South Africa where she worked in finances and with the children. She is excited to work with Bridges Beyond in an administrative support capacity and is very committed to the work they are doing.
Lynn has been married to David Kehler since 1974 and has 2 children and 3 grandchildren. She has been a counsellor with Crocus Counselling Centre since 1994 which has been very fulfilling. She has attended Calvary Chapel in Steinbach since 1994. She has enjoyed mentoring young women, and has been the Women's Group leader for several years. In 2011 Lynn and Dave began their mission trips to Rwanda, training the leaders of The Pentecostal Church of Rwanda (ADEPR). In 2013, Lynn was asked to write a training manual and has trained over 360 women in Peer Counselling.
