CONNECTING CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS TO SOCCER MINISTRY
It was great to see how God is opening the doors for Ambassadors Football ministry in Rwanda to connect with Christian schools to use soccer ministry to share Christ with the children.

It looks like the school officials are so hungry for the Gospel to be preached in their schools. We have mostly been connecting with the schools in the rural areas, and this year we would like to see the Gospel of Jesus Christ preached in the schools in Kigali City. We are now targeting the 4 schools in Kigali to reach out the Children in the city.

OPENING A SCHOOL-BASED ACADEMY

We are so excited to see new ministry of Ambassadors Football starting in partnership with one of secondary school in the South Region of Rwanda. We have sent 15 children in this school and it is so amazing to see how Ambassadors Football ministry is using football to share the gospel with students who love the game of football.

SUPPORTING THE CHILDREN RETURNING TO SCHOOL

One of the core ministry we have within Ambassadors Football in Rwanda is to sponsor poor children to go back to school. This focus has been a great testimony to the parents and guardians.

They know that we do not only share Christ in words but also our faith is seen in action by providing the school materials and schools fees to the vulnerable children. For this first semester, 67 children were sent to school by the donations you have been sending to us. Thank you so much for your help.

A mother's testimony: I am so thankful to the support that you have given to my children. My children now have hope for the future. Before they came to Ambassadors Football, they were always in despair not knowing what the future holds for them. I am a single mother and I have four boys and they eat when I bring something at home. There is no way, I could afford sending my two boys to schools, but I am so thankful that Ambassadors Football supported them.

"IT IS NOT ABOUT FOOTBALL, IT IS ABOUT THE GOSPEL"

Ambassadors Football Rwanda ministry is so excited for one of our coaches who got baptized on the 29th October 2021. Epiphany joined our program three years ago and got saved but due to Covid-19 she could not be baptized as the baptism was restricted. But we now thank God that she witnessed her faith publicly confessing that Jesus is her Lord. If you ask Epiphany one word about Ambassadors Football ministry, she will say: It is not about football, it is about the Gospel. We are praying that the Lord will continue to open up the doors so that we can proclaim the Gospel of Jesus through soccer.

IT'S ALL ABOUT CHANGING LIVES

Ambassadors Football ministry is changing lives in the community, and the parents are so thankful for the work that the coaches do. One remarkable transformation that the ministry has brought to the community is the fact that 25 girls got scholarship to play for one of secondary schools in the Eastern province. This has eased the financial burden for all of their parents. This has made the ministry of Ambassadors Football in that community well respected and many parents are now sending their girls to us to be trained in football and be mentored in the Christian faith.

FROM POOR COMMUNITY TO RWANDA NATIONAL TEAM

Uwimbabazi Fidelite is 16 years old girl. She joined program in 2018 with many difficulties in life, but with the support of Ambassadors coaches, she was able stay in the program and got trained in football as she was raised in Christian faith. Recently she was selected to play in Rwanda National Women U20 Team and she has been given a free scholarship for her education. Her parents are so thankful to the program for helping raise their girl in Godliness and training her in the game of football.

IN CLOSING
As Rwanda ministry, we are so thankful to all partners who give generously to the work of reaching the children with the Gospel using soccer. We are able to transform communities due to the support you sent us. Even if you are not on the ground physically, please know that your donation is transforming the lives of people.

We would like to see many people partnering with us to reach more children in Rwandan communities and continue accompanying the children in their journey of transformation.
